Children with early visual impairments frequently experience delayed motor, language, emotional, social and cognitive development and may struggle to perform academically. As adults they have a higher likelihood of developing anxiety and depression and are more inclined to social isolation.
Most students with visual impairments need some kind of technology for effective learning. At Linden Lodge School we believe in the power of technology to support people with visual impairments to develop communication and language, to access learning and to achieve independence and social inclusiveness at school, at home and in the wider community.

Assistive technologies can truly transform lives, open doors and remove countless barriers. They can make being unable to access communication and learning a thing of the past for all. Please help us to give our students their voice!
